Anyone that knows me knows that I live for music. Yes, live for it.

I can’t stand to work, work out, clean, or get ready without music. If I’m awake, I’d be happier listening to music than I would be not.

I’m also that girl that makes playlists for everything.

I even have a playlist of songs that I feel I can relate to/describe me.

I often speak my real feelings/describe myself through sharing song lyrics.

“…I use music to speak when words fail me, even though words are as important to me as the air I breathe.” Danu Grayson

Some lyrics that describe me in my mind or fit my current feelings:

“Don’t have a care when her song’s on the radio…”

“I’m over the top, I say what I think, I get out of hand with too many drinks, I hate to be wrong when I know that I am, I need to be strong when sometimes I can’t….”

“When she loves, she loves with all her heart…”

“Clarity and inspiration. Happiness is a destination that’s hard to find. It may take some time, But in my mind there’s something more. And I’ll open up a brand new door, And find the strength to close the ones I left behind. And I’ll get there leanin’ on some friends I know: The road and the radio.”

“I was taught to, Fight like hell, And love like an angel. Pray like a saint,
And run like a rebel. Live each day like there’s no tomorrow, Speak my mind, And act like a lady.”

“She got her daddy’s tongue and temper. Loves and lives her life unruly. Always up to somethin’, crazy got nothin’ on her!”

“Boy, she don’t need you and she don’t need me. She can do just fine on her own two feet. But she wants a man who wants her to be herself.  And she’ll never change, don’t know how to hide. Her stubborn will or her fightin’ side.”

“I ain’t the kind you take home to mama, I ain’t the kind to wear no ring.
Somehow I always get stronger, When I’m on my second drink.
Even though I hate to admit it, Sometimes I smoke cigarettes. The Christian folks say I should quit it, And I just smile and say “God Bless”.
Cause I heard Jesus He drank wine, And I bet we’d get along just fine.
He could calm a storm and heal the blind, And I bet He’d understand a heart like mine. Daddy cried when he saw my tattoo, But said he loved me anyway”

“That girl’s headstrong, Keeps chugging along. Looks to her friends when somethings wrong. You don’t like her, She don’t mind. Takes it on her chin and in a stride. Looks like her mama, Talks like her dad.  Cute when she’s happy, Cuter when she’s mad. In this hellatious world, She’s dancing along to the grain of her own song.”

“I got a mouth like a sailor and yours is more like a Hallmark card.”
