Well my blog name comes from song lyrics which I also have tattooed on my side and use as my life motto.

I have a shortened version on my right side, “I’m gonna smile my best smile and laugh like it’s going out of style.”
I got it as a tattoo because that song and quote have deep meaning for me. I believe that you have to make the best of everything. Smile. Laugh. Find the enjoyment in whatever you are facing. And having it on me for life serves as a constant reminder.
I love plenty of other quotes, but nothing sits as deeply in my heart & soul as that one.
That’s such a great song, quote and sentiment. My favorite Garth song is The Dance. I loved it as a kid when it came out and it really resonated in me when I lost my son in 2004. I’ve sung it as a lullaby to each of my three other sons since. <3

There are so many songs that speak to me in that way. I’m a major Beatles fan, and one of my favorites is from the song Think For Yourself; “Try thinking more, if just for your own sake.”
